Duplicate-record button produces empty firlds on a form.

I have Access2000 with WindowsXP.

My form is based on a query QryAddresses and is used to enter, duplicate and
delete records.

Also there are two Combo boxes on the form, also based on the QryAddresses
and these were produced by the wizard to find a particular record. These
combo boxes have code incorporating a "recordset clone".

Ever since the combos were added, the "duplicate record" button does not
work, and results in all-empty fields on the form, though the records are
duplicated in the underlying QryAddresses.

Can anyone explain how the form's fields do not display the duplicated
record?
