Duplicate Record Command Button

When using the Duplicate Record Command Button, how does one make sure the newly created record stays visable on the form instead of going back to the original duplicated record when a person clicks in a field on the form. I have forms that work and others that don't and don't know the property setting that may be causing the issue.

I need the new record to stay visable so changes can be made to the original record to create 2 different records.
