Duplicate reminders for same appointment

I updated to Outlook 2007 yesterday and ever since I did, when I get a pop-up
reminder for an appointment, it shows 2 of the exact same one. I only have to
deal with one and they both go away but I'd like to have it back to normal.
Any suggestions?

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders or /cleansniff command
switches.

/cleanreminders didn't work for me.

I ran: (start > run)
outlook.exe /cleanreminders
(outlook opens, no errors received)

I still get multiple reminders for one event.

You may want to display the Outlook calendar by Recurrence and go through
them to see which ones are corrupt and don't respond to the command line
options.

I'm having the same issue and the /cleanreminders and /cleansniff didn't
work. I sorted items by Recurrence but don't know how to tell if they are
corrupt or not, everything appears normal?
