duplicate sent messages?

I'm using the latest version of Outlook 2007 under Vista Home Premium. The
last several times I went to send one message, I saw in the active message
at the bottom of the program (right side) that I sent two messages.

My first thought is I have a worm but I have McAfee Security Center
installed which is updated daily and I assume is doing its job.

Are there any issues with Outlook 2007 with sending duplicate messages or
giving the erroneous message of sending two messages when in fact only one
is sent? Ideas? Thanks, Dave Horne

Roady, I looked at that page but saw the following remark ---

System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Service Pack 3; Windows Server
2003[end]

I assume since I am using Outlook 2007 under Vista that this would not be a
solution for me?

It is still a solution for that platform too. In fact I did the testing for
that guide on Windows Vista with Outlook 2007.

Roady, I downloaded that program and ran it. I backed up my pst file just
in case. Since this program runs outside looking in I figured I was OK.

I followed the instructions in that program and I have no messages 'stuck'
as you out it.

I did see this however, when I exit Outlook 2007 I have it set to send and
retrieve messages. That screen goes by very fast so I did a Print Screen to
capture that dialogue box. My wife and I each have an account which means
four processes, right? Me - send, receive, Wife - send, receive ... that's
4 processes.

What I see is .... 4 of 6 tasks Have Completed Sucessfully though Ionly see
four lines of processes. Ideas? Thanks, Dave

I should add that I don't know for a fact that I'm sending duplicate
messages, I just know that I go to send one message and am told that I am
sending two. Sent Messages only shows the one message.

It is still a solution for that platform too. In fact I did the testing
for that guide on Windows Vista with Outlook 2007.
