Duplicate text, then rotate

I am making some flash cards.

I have up to a half page of text on the top of several pages. This text
needs to be printed upside down on the bottom half (same side) of the pages
that contain identical text. I can print the half page, then rotate the
paper and put it back in the printer.

Is there a way to do this in Word?

OK, I got the text alignment down. Now how do I reference cells in a MS
Word table?

I know in excel it is done like this: "=A1". However, this does not work in
a Word table.

It's pretty much the same in Word except that it has to be inserted as a
field. The easiest way to do this is to go to Table | Formula and type in A1
after the =.

I did that, and got a highlighted "0". I had text in the upper left corner
of the table, which I assume is a1.

Hi Matthew,

Sounds like you want to reference the cell from *outside* the table.
To do that you need to bookmark the entire table and use a slightly
different formula field. For example, this:

{ =sum(Table4 a1) }

will show the value in cell A1 in the table bookmarked as Table4.

No, he's trying to repeat the text from A1 in B1. Matthew, you could
bookmark the text itself and insert a cross-reference to the text of the
bookmark, but my personal opinion is that it would be easier to just
copy/paste from one cell to another.

No, he's trying to repeat the text from A1 in B1.

I don't see where he says that. Or did this thread "jump the
median" somewhere and it's before that?

Is there any need to reference the cells like this. Why not bookmark the
text in the first cell and use a REF field in the second cell and rotate
each cell content as required?
