Duplicated labels

I'm having a heck of a time merging labels using Excel data. I have walked
through both the wizard and manually setting up the merge using the merge
toolbar and get the same odd results.

Page 1 of merged labels is perfect. Page 2 prints contacts #2-31. Page 3
prints 3-32, etc. Instead of 750 labels, I end up with approximately 750
PAGES of lables, each identical to the next except the first and last labels.

WHAT'S UP WITH THIS???

Have you actually executed the merge or are you just previewing the results
in the mailmerge main document by having clicked on the <<ABC>> button and
then using the record navigation buttons?

Doug, I'm just previewing. You mean it'll all get better if I just have some
courage and merge the doc? I can't believe it. I must have fiddled with that
thing for 2 hours. MAHALO!!!!!!!!

Thank you both so much for your help!

Is this discussion available on a usenet newsgroup? I'm finding the format
awkward in this Office Online discussion group format. No way to mark a
message to follow, show threads, sort, view only unread....I'm spoiled by the
Publisher and Outlook newsgroups I can access via a mail/news reader. I
notice some (maybe all) of the messages from those groups show up here. I'm
hoping there's a usenet Word group I just haven't been able to track down.

MAHALO!

Most certainly! The on-line discussion group is merely a window into the
Microsoft usenet server and via Usenet is much the better way to access it.
