Duplicating a sheet deletes the charts inside it

Is their a particular reason that when I copy a sheet containing multiple charts, the new sheet contains no charts at all?

I'm attempting to visualize two similar data sets, and would like to create the same charts for both data sets. I've already gone through and formatted the charts just the way I want them for the first data set and would like to simply:
1. duplicate the sheet,
2. copy and past the new data into the appropriate cells for the new sheet,
3. and get the new charts without having to reproduce the 2 days worth of chart creation I already did.

Is their a way to force duplication of the charts within a sheet? If not i'm going to have to tell my boss that the report that was due Monday, probably won't be on his desk until Friday.

How are you copying the sheet? Try right clicking on the sheet tab and check
make a copy. The chart(s) duplicate for me.
