Duration in "ewks"

Does anyone know what a duration of "ewks" represents?
When a task has this duration, I can't assign a calendar
to it and it appears to ignore the project calendar I
chose in the Project Information dialog box (it's ignoring
holidays).

The designation "ewks" refers to "elapsed weeks." An elapsed week is seven
24-hour days, thus, it will ignore the project calendar. Hope this helps.
