My Office 2004 has Dutch proofing tools. To use them, you need to make sure
the text is tagged as Dutch. But I think your problem is really just that
spelling and grammar is greyed out, which a few others have complained
about, and that it has nothing to do with Dutch.

I believe generating a fresh preferences file fixes the "spelling and
grammar grayed out" problem. See here for instructions, under the Damaged
Preferences link.

I don't think that the Dutch proofing tools included with Office offer
Grammar Check. Sorry.

The Macintosh Business Unit at Microsoft who develop the Mac versions of the
Office applications do read this newsgroup, so suggestions here should be
recorded. You can also send feedback using the web form, though that's not
necessary any longer since the newsgroup is being read by the Macintosh
Business Unit. In any Office X or 2004 application, go to Help > Send
Feedback. Otherwise, click on this direct link to enter Mac Product
