Dutch spell check crashes Word after SP2 installed

Even after the installation of the SP2 of Office and the proofing tools -
thru Microsoft update the Dutch spell checker now crashes the word
application.

It did NOT so before the sp2 update. I guess SP stand Sorry Piece of work.
Is there any option/solution other than uninstall the lot and try to get it
installed again, with the inherent option this update thing is going to
scratch it again?

For clarity: I am assuming that you have English versions of Windows XP
and Office XP or 2003 installed. Further, Proofing tools, Dutch
spellchecker has been installed and possible the thesauruses and
hyphenation facility.

I would do the following in the given order: uninstall SP2; uninstall the
proofing tools; do a repair install of Office; install sp2, install the
proofing tools, Dutch.
