DWG and DFX formats do not appear in my new installation of Visio 2003. I
know that it should as a colleague has these formats. I have run update and
have all the latest Office updates.
Any help would be appreciated.

Save a drawing as a DWG or DXF file Help
Assistance > Visio 2003 > Working with Drawings > Managing Files
Saving Files

1.. Open the Microsoft Office Visio drawing you want to save,
and then, on the File menu, click Save As.
2.. Under Save as type, click AutoCAD Drawing (*.dwg) or
AutoCAD Interchange (*.dxf).
3.. Click Save.
Notes

a.. If your Visio file has more than one drawing page, you
must save each page separately.
b.. When you save a Visio drawing as a DWG or DXF file, the
drawing is saved with fills and hatches turned off. In AutoCAD, you can turn
the fills and hatches back on by setting the FILLMODE system variable to 1
and then using the REGEN command to regenerate the drawing. For more
information on settings in AutoCAD, refer to the documentation provided with
the AutoCAD program.
