Hello Mins,

You need to create a predecessor/successor relationship between the two
tasks. Select the first task, CTRL + click on the second task. Click the
Link task button on the Standard toolbar. The Finish of the first task will
now drive the start of the second task. If the first task's finish gets
delayed, the second task's start will move as well.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Make a link from Task 1 to Task 2. Click on the first task in the Gantt
view, hold down the control key and click the second task. Then click
the link icon on the toolbar.

Hi Mins,

If you are using Project Server you should post your question to the
server newsgroup: microsoft.public.project.server

I believe you are asking how to prevent someone from entering actual
work on task 2 before task 1 is complete through PWA.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
