I am a new user to FrontPage and I am currently using FrontPage 2003. I am
trying to create a dynamic menu using layers. I am using the book "Using
Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003," by Paul Colligan and Jim Chesire as a
guide. I get to the last step and I can't get it to work. The last step is
to create a new Behavior for the main Layer, that contains the menu bar, so
if you hover over a button on the menu and then move the mouse off the menu
itself without hovering over the submenu, the submenu disappears. My
submenus remain visible. Their instructions are:
1. Select the main menu layer
2. From the Behaviors task pane, select Insert, change Property
3. Select the Select Element Option.
4. Select div from the Element Type dropdown.
5. Select the submenu from the Element ID dropdown.
6. Click the Visibility button.
7. Select the Hidden option.
8. Click OK.
9. Make sure that the Restore on Mouseout Event check box is unchecked.
10. Click OK.
11. Change the event from onclick to onmouseout.
