E-commerce site. Any tips?

Hi,

So far I've created ten or so websites using FP2000. I client of mine has
asked if I can design him an e-commerce site. I've never looked into
designing one before and would really appreciate some advice to get me
started on the right track.

man, this is the nicest asp/ access shopping cart I've used. and it's only
$50!! you can download most of it for free to see how nice and clean the
code is laid out, but it lacks some administration functions till you pay
;-)

Foe something that integrates nicely with FrontPage you might want to look
at StoreFront :

to talk to my client/friend first.

Outside of shopping cart programs, any other advice?
