e-mail account chooser

I have multiple email accounts and I can never remember to choose a specific
outgoing account. I am familiar with the accounts pulldown but it assumes
that one remembers to use it. I would like a solution that opens a dialog
that allows me to choose an account before mail is sent. Does anyone know of
such a solution?

Or, would it be possible to create such a feature myself?

You may be able to accomplish this with an add-in. Look into whether you can
use a Mail Sent event. Depends on whether the event exists and exactly when
it fires (IE before or after the message is sent).

If not then you may be able to look at intercepting the windows messages
involved with sending an email.

Anyway, sorry I am not familiar with any of that, but that is where I would
start looking.
