e-mail accounts <> diff folders

Is there any possibility to have different e-mail accounts for eatch folder?
e.g.:
If I want to write a message in my WORK folder, it uses my work email
account, and in my PRIVATE folder it uses my private email account?
I'm using Outlook 2003.

I seek this sort of functionality too.

I prefer to use multiple email addresses one of which is least secure
and is ditched as soon as spammers show up in it.

But I don't wish for all Ins and Outs to go into or be stored into
general folders.

My workflow preferences include keeping the Ins, Outs, Sents separate by
function and by email address.

But! I'd like to do this easily-peasily without recourse to using
multiple rules or at least having an option to treat each email address
with separate storage options.

Also, if I choose to Send a message from email address #3 I'd expect the
default From details to wholly reflect email address #3 settings by
default with optional per instance switching to email address #n if I wish.

Defaulting to default does not seem the best option in my opinion
(workflow frustration/obfuscation?)

No, you will need to select the account manually before you send the message.

Actually, if the OP uses per account signatures and sets Word as the default
editor, the account can be changed on the fly by changing the signature
using right click.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook] asked:
