E-mail Accounts not Connecting

We have created a number of HTTP e-mail accounts in Outlook 2002 on a new
computer. On the old computer the accounts all appeared to be continually
connected (we have an 'Always On' DSL connection). The account connections
were automatically always 'Live' and the inboxes and junk mail boxes were
always updated.

Unfortunately, this is not the case on our new computer. We must manually
connect to each of our e-mail accounts as we select them. I.E., we must go
to the FILE menu and choose the option at the bottom of the drop-down menu
to connect to the current account. After we connect to each account, they
seem to update the mail fine. Do you have any suggestions as to why our
HTTP accounts are not automatically connected?
