E-mail address from Contact List

I have hundred of names and e-mail address in my Outlook 2007. I open a new
message and start entering a name but unless I had just gotten an email from
that person, I have to go manually into contacts and find the address, cut
and past. Shouldn't the E-mail check the contact and business contact list to
see if they are in there.
I'm thinking that they do,I just don't know which switch to flip.
