Outlook automatically condenses e-mail addresses, for example "John Doe
<[email protected]>" gets condensed to "John Doe".
This makes copying and pasting e-mail addresses a pain, especially multiple
addresses, since for each address, one at a time, you have to right click,
hit properties, then select the e-mail address, cut and paste the e-mail
address.
For replies or forwarded e-mails, it makes the to: line in previous mails
useless for capturing an e-mail address because only the text "John Doe"
survives the process.
I know this is somehow a "feature" that is tied to the address book and/or
contacts... but CAN IT BE TURNED OFF? I'd prefer to just leave the
addresses spelled out the long way like in the other mail programs I've used.
Many thanks for any ideas.
