(I hope this is an obscure problem - I've done a search and dont want
to get shot down by "rifleman"!)
I'm using Outlook 2002 and I regularly send e-mails with attachments
to an associate of mine who reads them with OE (sad but true).
My Outlook has 6 service mailboxes and I wanted to use the different
from addresses more effectively, so last week I changed from
"Corporate or Workgroup" mode to "Internet E-Mail" mode.
We didn't notice straight away but after a copule of days my associate
started complaining that there were no attachments on the e-mails
received.
We did a couple of tests, with a 3Mb attachment, and it seemed obvious
that the attachment was going with the e-mail on send because of the
time the send took. Similarly, at his end, it took appropriate time to
download the e-mail but, no attachment visible.
I also did another test to a different user (but also OE), and the
same efect. Due to pressure of deadline, I didn't have time to test to
a regular Outlok user, but switched modes back to "Corporate or
Workgroup" and the problem went away.
Is this a known problem? I'd really like to use my different e-mail
accounts more effectively so any pointers to a fix would be greatly
appreciated.
Or it this just another symptom of the "rich-text" problem which seems
to come up from time to time.
Any pointers much appreciated.
TIA
