I believe a simple question, does BCM support E-Mail Linking with IMAP
folders?
I selected Business Contact Manager / Manage E-Mail Auto Linking / Folders
Tab and selected all the folders I wanted to link. I then clicked "Search
and Link..." and it spent hours going through the folders - both PST and the
IMAP folders. I then went back and checked a few e-mails and then have no e-
mails linked.
However, If I "manually" go to an e-mail and Link the e-mail, it will stick.
That however is a complete disappointment because of the amount of extra work
needed to manage the database. Not a pleasant thought. And even that does
not work on all e-mails. Some it remembers, and some it does not.
I can understand BCM working with PST and OST files but many are switching to
IMAP. Interestingly, I use Google Premier and all e-mails stored in those
folders are linked. But other e-mails that are IMAP, even though there are
corresponding PST on the machine, the linking does not stick.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
