E-mail Data Validation

I'm creating an InfoPath form to be used by SharePoint, hosted as a web page
using Forms Services. I have a workflow set up that will send a verification
e-mail to the person who filled out the form, once the form has been
submitted. However, I need to know what my Data Validation pattern is for
verifying that the user has entered a valid e-mail address. Can anyone help
me out?

Thanks for the info. However, that's not the kind of information I'm looking
for. I'm submitting my InfoPath form to a SharePoint library, then using a
workflow to send an e-mail to the user. I'm not actually e-mailing the form
to the user directly from InfoPath. What I'm looking for is, for lack of a
better explanation, a regular expression to use that I can enter into the
text field data validation for that field.

The best info I could find was in this document:

under the section "To assign a data entry pattern to the E-mail Address text
box". is this the best solution?
