How do I get the email display to show actual address
rather than the contact name?

That would depend on which Outlook version you are using and where it is
that you want the address to display.

I am looking for the same solution.

I currently have Outlook XP and I am looking to have the email addresses
actually be displayed in the from column in the inbox or any other email
folder.

Any help is appreciated.

The From field in the Inbox is determined by the sender, not the recipient.
