e mail lost in cyberspace

I have been having a problem. I have my Outlook Express 6
set up with my hotmail accounts. Some of my emails are
arriving and some aren't. And the ones that aren't are
not coming back as "undeliverable" so I never know if a
person is getting my email or not.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply. I have been writing to active
email addresses in my address book. My sister, my neice,
my friends etc.

p.s. I just sent 6 e mails to myself at an account I have
on another email server and 4 of them got there, 2 of them
didn't and there was no notification that the mail was
undelivered in Outlook Express nor on the Hotmail web page.
