e-mail merge on Office 2004 Academic?

Dewey Dykstra

Can anyone tell me whether or not:
1. e-mail merge is a supported feature on Office 2004 for academics
(teachers and students)?
2. e-mail merge is a supported feature on Office 2004 Peofessional?

Thanks.

The only difference between the two editions is who can buy it for what
price. It is supported in both.

Well, Office Pro also comes with Virtual PC, but as mmmmark says, the
versions of Entourage, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are identical across
Office Standard, Office Pro, and Office Student/Teacher.

Hi Dewey:

Yes, it is, for both. However, to merge to email, you must be using
Microsoft Entourage as your default email program. Word can't output the
result of a merge to other email programs.

The difference between the versions is:

1) The Academic version is the same as the Full Retail product, but is sold
only to students and teachers (at a much lower price).

2) The Professional version is the same version of Office, but also
includes Virtual PC for Macintosh.

Cheers
