E-mail merge, poor screen resolution

I created a newsletter in Publisher and copied it into Word so that I could
do an e-mail merge. The document looks find in Publisher and in Word, but
when I send it out as an e-mail, the resolution is very poor.
(am using Office 2003)

Any suggestions?

Just guessing, but the graphics are probably being compressed for
e-mail. (to prevent choking the recipients mailbox with megabyte sized mail)
