I have Outlook 2002 running on several WinXP computers.
Outgoing mail is moved to the sent box but is never delivered to addresses
on certain domains. Undelivered mail does not bounce back as undelivered.
However, the message is always delivered if any of the following is true:
1) it is a reply
2) a delivery receipt is requested
3) a read receipt is request
The problem started around August 13th when automatic updates started
downloading the latest round of Microsoft updates to computers on our
networks.
Any computer that was not running automatic updates works fine until I
manually run Microsoft updates.
The problem occurs with computers using both comcast & charter as their smtp
server so I don't think it is a smtp server issue. I have no other smtp
servers I can try.
Help!
