e-mail Outlook 2007 - receipt stops working send is ok

I have set up outlook with an sbcglobal.net e-mail. It will work for a
while, then I stop receiving mail,,,,but can continue to send. Test sending
works fine.
I also have this e-mail set with my Iphone. I can't seem to resolve this
easily - occassionally i have re-set everything and it works,,,,but only for
awhile.

What happens when it stops working? Any error message?
What exactly did you reset to get it working?

The first thing to do in trying to figure this out is to get any interfering
applications ot of the way. If you have an antivirus program installed,
uninstall it and reinstall it without any mail scanning feature.
