E-mail privacy

Does anyone have any idea why MS has not provided for a flag to prevent
forwarding a message or to show only the group name on the address line
instead of all the members of the group? I am trying to get privacy using
BCC, but my service provider sees that as a flag for spam and blocks the
e-mails.

Microsoft does not control email on the internet, email uses something called
SMTP, which I think was invented by Al Gore, and SMTP just does not contain
the privacy features you want.

Thanks. I used Notes with a recent employer and it has both functionalities,
so it must have to be an enterprise thing.

And, in fact, Outlook does have those features when using an Exchange server
and within the Exchange environment (well, DLs can be used for outside the
environment).

If your ISP blocks the mail, tell them what you are trying to do and ask
them if they have a mailing list solution that will at least get you around
the BCC issue.

Have you tried putting your name in the To... field?

Then make a Rule that if email arrives from you to you, delete it.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
