E-mail Reminders

How do I send an e-mail reminder to a group, or individual person, reminding them of an even happening the following day. Say for example, I have a small study group, who knows when and where it is, only, they prefer to have an e-mail sent to them the day before the study day only to remind them. How would I do this?

I would appreciate e-mail back, but is not necesarry. Thank

Use an appointment item and set the reminder to one day.
