e mailing seperate parts of a sheet

ok i have a question in are buisness we have severalt
sheets that are tab at the bottom of the screen and i need
to find how i can send differant tabs to differant
individuals ,i-e for exaple a new cars sales sheet and a
body sheet to 2 differant peeple but when i seen it sends
all of the sheets
any suggestions or help is very apreciated

Rob,

As far as I know you can not send an individual sheet from a workbook,
unless you copy/paste the contents into your e-mail.

However, you can make a copy of that sheet and save that copy as an
individual file, which can be sent as an e-mail attachment.

Move your cursor to the sheet tab and right click

Select Move or Copy
In the To option select New Book
At the bottom select Create A Copy

Then just save the file.

If you have the workbook open, you could send individual sheets as the
message body without separating from workbook or making copies, here's how:

1. Open workbook, click on tab for worksheet you'd like to send (to make it
the active sheet).
2. Go to File>Send to>Mail Recipient.
3. Select the radio button which reads "Send the current sheet as the
message body"
4. Click OK and fill in the email address
5. Push "Send this Sheet" button

I've used this with Excel 2000, XP, and 2003. Email software Outlook and
Outlook Express. With Excel 2000 and Outlook 2000, the procedure would be:

File|Send To|Mail Recipient. Then fill in the email address and click "Send
this Sheet"

Not sure if it is available in Excel 97. This is what Help says about
software needed:

a.. Outlook, Outlook Express, Microsoft Exchange Client, or another 32-bit
e-mail program compatible with the Messaging Application Programming
Interface (MAPI). Make sure Mapi32.dll is in the Windows System folder.


b.. Lotus cc:Mail or another 16-bit e-mail program compatible with Vendor
Independent Messaging (VIM). Make sure Mapivi32.dll,Mapivitk.dll, and
Mvthksvr.exe are in the Windows System folder.
Notes

a.. E-mailing and routing messages and workbooks may not work across
electronic mail gateways.


b.. Some message options, such as message tracking and voting, are
available only if you're using Microsoft Exchange Server.
