e-mails are stripped of their content upon delivery by Outlook

I am having a problem with the delivery of e-mails sent by Outlook through
POP3 (gmail.com) and HTML (msn.com) accounts.

Certain e-mails (all mine are sent as "plain text") sent via my msn.com
account are arriving at their destinations with the address and subject
intact, but arrive stripped of their content. Has anyone else encountered
this problem? In order to identify the point at which this stripping occurs,
I have forwarded these e-mails to my gmail account and back again, and these
e-mails, too, arrive with their content removed (forwarding headers, test
message copy).

Is there a common resolution for this issue?

Are you scanning outbound messages? What version of Outlook?

IN addition, I am RECEIVING many e-mails in Outlook that are blank. They
contain the proper address and subject line, and appear in my Inbox, however,
the content of the message is completely missing. Both the preview pane and
the opened message are completely BLANK beneath the message header.

If this were happening to me, the first thing I'd try is uninstalling or
completely disabling the AV program in order to test. You want to eliminate
as many variables as possible.

I have been having the SAME symptoms. Blank body of text but all the header
information is intact. I've already tried disabling Symantec AV, as well as
removing and adding the email account back into MS Outlook 2003.

Here's a couple of kickers:
--I initially view these messages at work using (Earthlink) webmail and
everything looks fine. After getting home I download the messages for further
reading/action, and the body text is all stripped out (blank).
--This doesn't happen with all emails, but some, and particularly from
trusted senders, both commercial and personal, and I cannot tell any common
threat between the blank messages. Some text only, some text with pictures,
some HTML, some plain text. All are in the INBOX and not being acted upon by
RULES.
--My wife also uses Outlook email on the same computer, same ISP, and
reports no occurrences of the mysterious blank email syndrome. We're wireless
routed in our house. XP home. A Pentium III computer.

I'm new to MS Passport Network as of today. cheers, Rick

have uninstalled all AV programs and still have the same problem. This can
not be an Office or Outlook installaion issue, as I've had this problem after
several reinstalls.

I am totally flummoxed on this one.
