e-mails don't get sent in spite of the Connector

Like more or less everybody else, I too lost the connection between Oulook
(2003) and Hotmail yesterday.
Following the advice found in some forum, I downlowded the Outlook
Connector. At first it jammed up my CPU, but after doing its thing things
seemed to be alright.
Now, however, I can recieve mail but not send it, as I get the ox8DE00006
error message.
Have not yet found any way around this.
Help, anybody?
