E-mails that I exported from Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2007 (using the
instructions at http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/migratefromoewlm.htm) do
not display/function correctly in Outlook:
- The little icon next to each e-mail shows a closed envelope, but Outlook
says they are Read
- If I click Reply or Reply All, it doesn't put the proper e-mail address in
the To and CC fields, it just has the contact's name(s) in plain text
- If I try to sort by Conversation, it lumps all the exported e-mails into
one conversation, instead of sorting properly by the Subject line
There may be other problems I'm not noticing, but those are the ones I've
come across. Is this an expected outcome of performing an export from
Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2007? I've scoured the Discussion Groups and
the internet at large and not seen any mention of this issue, so hopefully
it's something unique to my setup that can be corrected.
