e-maling work bok

I have a spread sheet I created for my time an saved it to a folder. When
required I e-mail a copy of this spread sheet. I click on the tool bar e-mail
and it goes to outlook e-mail mode and then I can send it. The problem is it
won't alow me to minimize the page... exmaple if I needed to go to desk top.
If I create a new work book in excel and then mail it I have no problems
minimize
