E2008: "Reply to all" includes me. I don't want it to.

Hello,
I run a copy of E2008 on a test machine here... I've noticed that on
2008 the "Reply to all" includes me.
I'd rather it didn't, because it looks a bit idiotic, and I really
don't need any help with that.

My settings in Preferences / Reply & Forward are all unchecked:

Include entire message in reply
Use quoting characters when forwarding
Reply to messages in the format in which they were sent
Reply using the default account

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Pw

Make sure you have an address book entry "On My Computer" that contains your
email address and is marked as "This Contact is Me."

Adam, thanks... yes, I checked the newsgroup for solutions before
posting and noted that one.

In the Address book, my contact has got the "enhanced" user icon that
shows me to be the owner of the account. I can't see any more explicit
way to tell Entourage that it's me!

If you are in the "To" line, then you will be included, but if you sent it
to several recipients, then you should not be included when you get a reply
to your original message that you reply to. With all of these replies, this
sounds idiotic. :)

Diane,

Thanks... I think I see what you're getting at. Yes, when I am the
recipient of someone else's mail (and I "reply all") I am included in
the list. However, it makes no difference whether I originated the
email or not. It's happening on every email that I "reply all" to.

Do you have any headers or rules that might be causing this behavior?

Test in a new Identity should rule out your current Identity. I would test
in a new User to rule out your User's folder too.
