I want to use EAC in some dates calculations, but when I retrieve it from
Database it retrieves as a number
my question is: this number is days or weeks or what is ?

Mohammed, EAC is Estimate At Completion. It's in dollars and cents. It's a
cost estimate. Not sure how you would use it in date calculations.

Ok, but I want to get the estimated “date†at complete, which field I should
use

Using the "Finish Date" Microsoft Project Calulates the new finish date based
on the actuals entered. This also assumes that PM are statusing the schedule
correctly. To verify the dates are correctly (project statused), you may
also wnat to look at the project status date.

Hope this helps

Mohammed, when you use Finish, watch out for constraints. If a task is fixed
duration or has a Constraint Type such as "Must Finish On". The Finish field
will not give you the estimate you seem to be looking for.
