Hi folks,
We have recently moved from Office 2003 on XP to Office 2007 on Vista
here at work, and I am unable to successfully migrate our collection
of global templates and document templates to the new system. My main
concern at the moment is that I cannot seem to add a reference from
any of the document templates to the global template we load from the
Startup folder.
I have tried isolating the problem by creating two macro-enabled
(*.dotm) templates from scratch, placing one in the Startup folder by
itself, restarting Word, then attempting to set a reference to this
new global template from the other new template. Word responds with a
message that "type library or wizard is not a VBA project", which is a
bit baffling.
Both templates are located in folders defined as Trusted Locations.
Any clues as to what is going on would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Terry
