Earned value Calculation

I created a new plan and have actuals and baselined the project before tracking actuals against. However I do not get any Earned Value Calculations. There is a fixed hourly rate for the resources and it does calculate the SV and PV but shows 0.00 on the EV and thus 0 on the CPI and SPI. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,
I understand that you entered some actuals then you baselined the plan. That
the reverse order of the normal way...
I'm afraid you have to remove all the Actuals (% complete = 0), set back all
the data as at the begining of the project, then Save the baseline.
Now you can re-entered all Actual data.
I hope that you were not too advanced in the project progress.... ;-(

Have you set the status date? (Project, Project Information)? MSP needs
to know the date at which earned value is to be calculated.

Thanks to all that replied.

I had tried to re-enter all the actuals as Gerard has suggested by redoing the plan, but that did not work. Finally I figured it out. I had to change some options under the calculation tab.
1. Actuals costs are always calculate by Microsoft Projec
2. Uncheck Move End of.... and Move start of.....
3. Default Fixed Cost acruals ---> "Prorated" instead of "End

I changed all these and it started working.

Thanks to all.
