Easy way to connect diagram elements?

Hello,
I am usingVisio to create UML diagrams and FlowCharts. I found that it is
quite painful to connect 2 diagram elements - First you drag the connector,
and then drag its end points to each of the diagram elements.
I was wondering if I could just ctrl-select 2 diagram elements,
right-click and choose a connector - which would appear by magic, connecting
the 2 elements?
Or, does Visio already have an easier way of connecting elements?

Thanks

The Connector Tool on the toolbar places the cursor in a state to just click
one shape (or connection point) and drag to another shape (or connection
point).
This will use the Dynamic Connector by default, so if you want to use anu
other connector, just make sure that it is selected in the stencil before
doing the click-drag action.
