I opened my Entourage 12.2.5 Address Book to correct a phone number that
had changed. Rather than backspacing I screwed-up (big time) and used
the Delete key. That action deleted the contact with his office and home
email and mailing addresses. The whole thing was gone and Entourage
does not have an Undo command.
I could not find an address book listing in the Microsoft User
Data/Office 2008 Identities folder. What a pain!
I hope there is a better way but what I had to do was to restart my
iMac from a SuperDuper cloned backup drive and worked off line with
Entourage to snap a screenshot of the address card that I could use
to recreate the contact when I restarted from the primary drive.
There has to be a better way?
