I had numerous long-running macros in Access 2003 and made extensive use of
Echo to write progress updates in the Status Bar. When I run the same macros
in Access 2007 only the StatusBarText of the first Echo No is written in the
status bar. The StatusBarText of all of the other Echos is ignored until the
last one, which is Echo Yes. The database is running from a trusted location
so security is not the issue. I can refresh the text in the status bar if I
use Echo Yes but not if I use Echo No. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the
problem is? (BTW I am using SP1 because the company has not yet installed SP2.
