Edit a range name

How do you edit a range name? Have looked all through helps to no
avail. My database is expanding, I have to pick a new name at each
expansion. The range name list is getting long, and I can't even
delete old unused names. Am afraid I will sort on the wrong named
range in error.

One way (I guess the "standard one") could be:

Select the "Insert > Name > Define..." item

Every name related to the current Worksheet should display in the list.
Click on the one you want to edit and in the bottom "Refers to:" field
change the references to match your needs, click "OK". Or clik on the
"Delete" button if that's what you want to do.
