Hi

What makes the edit button in IE 6.0 become active/inactive. I´m trying to
edit pages created in FrontPage and sometimes I can start FrontPage with
this button and sometimes not. How come?

best regards, Logi

Usually your cache (IE Temp files) is full - empty it

Why or under what circumstances would you need to empty the cache
manually? I thought this was automatic...

Hi

Did it and it works. Yes, it might be nice to have this as an automatic
feature.

Thanks a lot, Logi

Depends on your IE settings.

Check the size of your IE cache file, it should empty automatically but if
the file size is huge sometimes it doesn't work correctly. That's one of the
first things I change when I set-up a new computer. On the one I'm setting
up today the default was 893mg which is ridiculously large. Change it to
20mg (I like to keep it small to avoid a lot of old content in there) and
problems like the one you experienced and the View Source button being
grayed out go away.
