edit/change external links

i have a access 2000 mdb (that i'm converting to 2003) that is just reports
with external links to all the 'data' mdb's from another installation
the links are to various machines on the other/old installation eg:
\\someServer\c\somedir\anAccessfile.mdb
so when i try to open the report, query, etc i get an error that it can't
find the linked file
(... is not valid path. make sure the path name is spelled correctly and you
are connected to the server......)
i have the db's or shells of them that i can put on my new lan or pc, etc
if i can just edit that link value, then i can put the files easily where i
want on my new lan, or pc, etc
i suppose i can put up a temp machine named someServer with the dir's etc so
to actually duplicate the link value
but i'm to trying to save doing that work
so i was hoping there is some way to edit all those links

The easiest way to handle this is to delete the table links, compact the
database, and recreate the links.
