I have an excel document that contains macros, however, I
can not edit the macros. The sheets within the document
are protected with a password. I unprotected each sheet
but I still can not edit the macro. I would appreciate
any assistance.

What happens when you open the VBA editor?

There's worksheet protection
(Tools|Protection|protect Sheet that you removed).

There's workbook protection
(Tools|Protection|Protect Workbook)

There's also a protection for read/write under File|SaveAs

But these don't touch macros. the VBA Project (where macros live) can be
protected, too.

If you just double click on the project, then you'll be prompted for that's
project password (if it was protected).
