I have to hyperlink a word (annexure) to a target in last chapter (Annexures)
in my document. In EDIT hyperlink> pick up from same document> the formatting
style includes only HEADING 1 & HEADING 2. I want my target to go to HEADING
6 so that even after updating my TOC the particular annexure doesn't come.

Please help how to change the formatting.

Would it work for you to set a bookmark at the target point, then hyperlink to
the bookmark?

Bookmarks are certainly the answer, and probably the reason Heading 1 and
Heading 2 are already available is that they have been bookmarked
automatically by being included in the TOC (and presumably Heading 6 is not
in the TOC).
