Edit multiple links in ppt

Is there a way to edit multiple links for charts in Powerpoint 2007 that link
to Excel 2007? I can edit the source files one by one but when I select
multiple files, the "change source" box greys out. I ask because I have a
presentation that I need to edit, but when I send it to my work computer, the
links cannot be found.

Thanks!

Are you trying to actually change the links, or do you just want to make
sure you have everything so you can edit at work?

I think I'd use Package for CD and choose the option (click the Options
button) for "archive package." (Use Office Button | Publish | Package for CD
to get started with it.) I'd also select "copy to folder." In the options,
make sure "linked files" is selected (it is by default), and PPT will gather
your presentation and all the linked files into a folder you've specified.
Then you can zip that folder and send it to yourself at work via email or on
a USB stick drive or whatever.

You can also look under Office Button | Prepare | Edit Links to Files. You
should be able to update the links from there.

Hi Echo S, thank you so much for your answer, you solved my big problem
Now I have another problem with the link between pptx and xlsx. I wan
to link about 80 charts from excel to ppt. But when I read the path
there isn't the difference between ones and the other, in fact when
open the pptx and push on upload now, the charts became all egual. Th
only way that I found is to creat 80 different sheets on excel, so th
paths will be all different. You can understand that this is impossibl
because the charts will increase.
Could you help me to solve this big problem?

Thank you in advanc
