Hello Robert,
If you insert an object you may then be able to "convert" the
selected object to a different format. For an experiment: insert a
Word Document in your Project file through Insert > Object, Create
from file, and select a Word Document -- show as icon. You'll see
the icon in the Gantt chart. With the Word document selected,
choose Edit > Document Object > Convert and you can convert the word
file to a Word 97-2003 Doc or a Word Template or an OpenDocument
Text file.
