Edit Org Chart in Word 2003

Can not edit org chart on Word 2003 - error can not start
the application required to open this object - feature is
no longer functioning properly - would you like to
repair? Choose yes to repair - looks like it fixes
something and then we get the same error. Had this issue
with Word 2000 and upgraded to 2003 - also get the same
error when trying to edit org chart in PowerPoint. Two
tech notes found and neither fixed the problem - 238307
re too many fonts or deleting these files Msoprefs.232
and the Msoclip.232
